Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
One of the most inherited and most common psychiatric disorders, fewer than one in five adults with ADHD are currently diagnosed and/or treated. As ADHD can present with a range of behaviours, for which there might be any number of underlying causes, it is best to consult with your GP for further investigation.
After booking, reception will contact you to request that a Mind Screen Assessment is performed and at your first consultation a complete medical history will be taken. From this a mental health plan then can be formulated with any diagnosis confirmed with a second opinion by a specialist Psychiatrist.
A second meeting will then discuss which modes of treatment which may be suitable with your doctor following up to monitor your response to any treatment that is prescribed.
