About Your Pre-Assessment Appointment
Completing your pre-assessment before your ADHD consultation allows your GP to review your information beforehand, helping to provide a more informed, efficient and personalised consultation.
To support a comprehensive ADHD assessment, patients are asked to complete a structured Mental Health screening assessment before their appointment.
This allows your GP to review important clinical information in advance and helps support a more informed, efficient and personalised consultation.
One Point Medical currently uses Loffty 2.0 as its preferred pre-assessment platform. Alternative Mental Health screening options are available for patients who prefer not to use Loffty.
How Loffty can support your consultation
Loffty 2.0 collects relevant mental health information before your appointment and provides your GP with a structured overview to assist with preparation for the consultation.
The assessment can assist your GP by:
- collecting relevant background and symptom information;
- identifying areas that may require further discussion;
- supporting a more focused consultation;
- assisting continuity of care; and
- supporting the preparation of a Mental Health Care Plan, where appropriate.
Transparency Statement
Dr Christopher Mulroney was involved in the early development of Loffty 2.0 and has a nominal financial interest in the company that administers the software.
Patients consulting with the independent GPs at One Point Medical are welcome to choose an alternative Mental Health screening tool if they prefer.
Loffty Fee (Pre-Appointment Assessment)
Loffty 2.0 currently costs NZ$49, approximately A$41, and payment is made directly through the Loffty platform.
The 12-month membership includes:
- access to assessments for 12 months;
- immediate access to completed reports;
- a personal dashboard to track progress; and
- the option to share reports with a treating practitioner.
The Australian dollar amount may vary depending on the exchange rate and any card or international transaction fees.
If You Prefer Not to Use Loffty 2.0
Alternative Mental Health screening tools are available and meet the minimum Medicare screening requirements.
Please note that these tools generally assess only one condition and do not provide the comprehensive clinical information available through Loffty 2.0.

What Happens After You Book?
Once your ADHD assessment appointment has been confirmed:
Our reception team will contact you to arrange payment of the $150 deposit required to secure your appointment.
You will receive an email or SMS with instructions on how to create your Loffty 2.0 account and complete your pre-appointment assessment.
Please complete your assessment before your appointment so your GP has sufficient time to review your information in advance.
