Following the Psychiatrist/ADHD GP appointment your doctor spends half an hour discussing your treatment choices.
Three to four weeks after commencing treatment, your doctor reviews your response and changes treatment with you, as required.
These appointments continue on a three-monthly basis, as for other chronic medical conditions.
Your doctor will also help you manage any complications of ADHD as part of their commitment to your life-long mental health care needs.
